hear he got traded from jim gray off ESPNNEWS in a 3-way deal, I think it's marion to boston, minnesota gets 5th pick + players, phoniex gets garnett<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The current trade is basically contingent on whether Marion would agree to a contract extension with the Celtics, Gray reported. Marion can opt out of his contract after the 2007-08 season. The Suns have spoken to Marion about the deal.</div>http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=2917781

As far as the players changing teams it is pretty much the same list as the previous Bos-Phx-Minn rumorsKG to PhxMarion to Bostonexpiring contracts + lottery picks to Minnesota

I have been pretty anti-Marion to Boston, but if an extension is agreed upon, I'd welcome the deal.

Until something happens I refuse to think this has any shot of being done. This is about the 34th rumor involving Phoenix in the last month and they all seem to be of the "very serious discussions" variety.

Would this mean that Minny would get Al Jefferson?

It wasn't even close to this level last off-season. This is insane. [IMG] What happened to the Marion - Jamison trade rumors. [IMG]

This is just another b.s. rumor that will go away in time or2. KG went to the Wolves front office and told them in private that he wants out and he will opt out next season if they don't trade him.

I'm not sure if Minnesota will pull the trigger without Al Jefferson going there.

If Boston kept Big Al, and got Marion without dealing Al or PP.. Wow. Boston would hit the jack pot.
