ndianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay insists Peyton Manning's future with the team has not been determined, saying in a post to Twitter late Saturday night that the quarterback "hasn't been released nor was a decision reached weeks ago." Irsay's post was in apparent reaction to a report on NFL Network that said "the organization was planning to move on from Manning weeks ago." The broadcast report cited sources involved in the Colts' GM search, which concluded early this month with the hiring of Ryan Grigson, the former director of player personnel for the Philadelphia Eagles. In a confounding span of four days last week for the Colts, Manning went public with his thoughts about on an unhealthy atmosphere at team headquarters and Irsay responded, calling the quarterback a "politician."
