"I am really an advocate of good three-point shot selections, especially when it comes to having a guy like Allen (Iverson) on the team," O'Brien stated. "I think to surround Allen with very good three-point shooters with a good center, gives him the best chance to shine and gives him the best chance to be on the team that will be very, very difficult to guard." thats wat he said, that makes me think that glenn robinson will stay on the team. the 3 prospect that thye mite draft(josh smith, iguodala, childress) are all below avergae from behind the arc. josh smith is very inconsistent at the high skool level. childress is 31 percent from the college level. iguodala has NO outside game at all.20 percent last year and 29 percent this year.i've ruled out ben gordon and devin harris cuz they're both pg and sixers cant have anymore 5 footers on their teams.kirk snyder is not considered a lottery pick because of his OUTSIDE SHOOTING. the only one thats consistent and good from the outside is luke jackson. but hes prob gonna turn into a player like ridnour. so i think we shud just look for a big man in the draft
I don't think O'Brien is resting the success or failure of thier outside game on this year's draft pick. I'm sure they will make some moves this off season to get somebody in there who can shoot and hopefully open up the floor a little bit.
