The Twoles color guy Jim Peterson thinks the trade can turn out to be one of the best trades of all time on the Wolves end. OF ALL TIME. Now I think we got a pretty good deal, but I would never go that far until you see how guys like Jefferson and Green develop. If you compare what the Sixers got for Iverson (Miller, Smith, 2 first round picks) with what Minnesota got for Garnett (Jefferson, Green, Gomes,Telfair, Ratliff's contract, two first rounders) I think Minnesota got the better deal. But to go that far that early, even before you see the guys suit up with Foye, McCants, and Brewer. Time will tell if Peterson's bold statement is true at all. I hope he's right.
