Horrendous move, I can't believe they moved a QB coach to the head coaching position rather than trying to bring in Fassel who should've gotten the job after Greg Williams was fired. Dan Snyder continues to be the worst owner in the NFL.

Expect like a 4 win season.

That may have been the least desirable coaching position ever available. Seriously, who would take a job when your entire staff has already been chosen for you? Dan Snyder absolutely debacled his head coaching search.

It is not uncommon for an owner to insist on a *few* of the assistant coaches. Did snyder really pick out every one of them himself? That is odd.

The deffensive and offensive coordinaters were both hired before hte hiring of the coach. Big mistake on Snyder's part. Because no one wanted to join this team, Snyder promoted a QB coach who had just been made the offensive coordinater to the head coaching position. This is going to be a disaster.

I wonder if Snyder is pulling an Al Davis with this move? Give an inexperienced guy the reigns so it's easier to lean on him and influence his coaching?

It must be something like that. Hiring Zorn doesn't seem to make sense for any other reason.

It makes sense if you just like saying names that sound like they're from cheap science fiction movies.

Or if you're a fan of the seventies when he formed a dynamic QB-WR and crime-fighting duo with Steve Largent
