    How about it?

    The guy scored 13 PPG in 40 MPG last season on terrible shooting. Now look at him.

    Nothing like a contract discussion with a home town discount in it to light the fire.

    Will the Bulls pay max or near-max to keep him?

    Assuming Butler remains healthy, it won't be near-max...it'll be max and it'll be a no-brainer for the Bulls to pay it. I mean, Butler was named to the All-Defense 2nd team last season and is averaging an efficient 20+ ppg...he deserves a max contract.

    Tell you the truth, I still don't fully believe in Jimmy Butler. I have my doubts that the rest of JB's season will look more like the first third than the last third.
