http://nbadraft.net/admincp/profiles/joakimnoah.html You can't teach this guys passion and how he comes up huge in the clutch. He's not going to be able to add much weight but he will rebound, block, play good defense and be a good leader. I'm dissapointed in his offense, he's not going to be consistant with it early in the NBA most likely. He has a very good arm-span and is a good athlete. I like this guy a lot and I don't have a problem with a team taking him higher than 'potential' guys because of his intangibles and leadership.

Yeah, you have to love this kid's passion on the court, he is a kid that truly loves the game. He will always be successful on the boards and defensively, and his leadership and passion is a trait that can never be taught. You either naturally have it, or you don't.

However, I don't think he'll be as big a star as some people think. I think he will most definitely be an NBA starter, and a good player. But his lack of offensive game and lack of even a little go-to pet move in the post, I don't see him becoming a big star like some people think. I think he'll be a rich man's Tyson Chandler. Skinny, but a better rebounder/defender than Chandler, and a better offensive player, but nothing to brag about offensively. Again... I did not call him the next Tyson Chandler, I said a rich man's Tyson Chandler.

This is hard to say as an SEC fan, but I think Noah is a tad overrated. Sure, he's had a great college career thus far and everyone, including myself, loves his passion and savvy for the game, but I just don't see him making noise at the pro level. He'll probably get drafted very high though. I don't know where he can fit in an NBA starting line up size wise. I think his build is between a Power Forward and a Small Forward, but I don't think he can match up with NBA PF's strength-wise and he's probably too tall for the SF position. I don't think he'll be much of a factor at the pro level.Noah is very exciting to watch. I love players who take their opponents out of rhythm and all, but I just don't think he has what it takes to succeed in the future.

Atlanta pick is ours and it's pretty tempting. His offensive game and his skinnyness worry me though. Well as long as he can run and dunk I think he'd be alright! Get'r done D'Antoni!

IMO Noah has too many things against him to be effective with the Suns. Being undersized and forced to play the 4/5 he would be pushed around by the bigger forwards/centers out west on a nightly basis (see Lamar Odom v. Shawn Marion) add that to the fact that his offensive game outside the paint is non existent would allow teams to slouch off on him to assist on the Nash/Amare p-n-r.Going off-topic the best fit for the Suns imo would be Hasheem Thabeet. While his offensive game like Noah's is lacking away from the basket his potential on the defensive side of the ball is much better.

Joakim Noah is 6'11" 235 pounds, thats not too bad. Not to mention he's a great athlete and he's quick which would be great for your run and gun offense. Having a bigger/slower guy like Thabeet who doesn't have any offensive skills would not be a better fit at all in my opinion.

Aside from Amare the Suns get pushed around in the paint and Noah wouldn't do anything to change that. He may more easily fit into the fast break style but he won't help them solve their defensive rebounding or shot blocking/altering deficiencies. Thabeet while he isn't as athletic as Noah could play effectively in the Suns system and would be a far superior defensive player compared to Noah in more of a half-court set who could better defend the likes of Tim Duncan, Elton Brand, Carlos Boozer type of bigs who we will certainly meet up with in the postseason. The Suns would be better off having Marion guard bigs like that then Noah and we have already seen the results of that.Reading the scouting report on Thabeet I see some similarities in his offensive game to that of Amare before he was drafted (remembering Amare was compared to Ben Wallace as an all defense no offense prospect) and working with Mark West and Marc Ivaroni (they had a significant impact on Amare's offensive progression) and not to mention Steve Nash he would be a perfect fit for the Suns.
