Chicago forward Joakim Nordstrom has been suspended for two games without pay for boarding Arizona Coyotes defenseman Oliver Ekman-Larsson in the Blackhawks' win Thursday.

The incident occurred in the final minute of the third period. Nordstrom drove Ekman-Larsson from behind into the boards, knocking him to the ice, and was assessed a minor penalty. Ekman-Larsson remained on the ice for some time and was attended to by the Coyotes' medical staff. He left the game and did not return.
