So where does everybody work? I got hired today at Starbucks. The manager and I really hit it off. I came in to drop off my application and I ended up talking to her for about an hour. I'm really hoping I can keep this job through college. Minimum wage is going up in California, if they do adjust how much I'll be getting paid to fit the minimum wage requirement ($7.50) I'll be making $7.90. If that's the case, based on tips, my hourly average would be about $9.30.
Kitchen hand at the moment, its a crappy job, I'm probally going to quit soon though, because the only reason I took on the job in the first place was because I was going to do a Chef Apprenticeship, and they say its best to start out at the bottom, however I've decided against it. I'm looking at going back to School this year to do Graphic Design, but if not that, then I'd like to study to become a Personal Trainer or join the Police force. I really enjoy those kind of jobs where you're helping people out, helping them better themselves.
From time to time I work as kind of a "floor caretaker", meaning that I clean carpets, oil wooden floors and stuff like that. Great pay.
Right now I'm an assistant manager for a sub shop in a suburb of Madison, and of course I've got to say that school is like a second job.
Ah, sandwich maker. I did that for 6 months. I worked in a deli, I love sandwiches. I could eat one every day.
I did some "outside" work for a while before I left to Europe. In a few years after college I'll be a Psychologist.

I currently don't work since im a full-time college student and the parents don't want me working during school. Two summers ago, I worked for one of the top law firms in Houston and last summer I worked at a christian summer camp as a counselor and had a blast. I just have to decide what I want to do this summer, make oodles of money at the lawfirm or corporation, or making hardly any money but having a blast hanging out with kids.

But during the summer I was working at Taco Bell in a food court. It was decent but I doubt I'll go back there for a job.

Then when i go to college i either want a degree in Graphic Design because i like it and i feel i can become better and make a job out of it, or Kineseology,(Sp?)that way i can become a sports trainer. Im still young though, but thats just my basic plan. Also i want to go to UCLA, but then i need better grades, i just wanna be close enough that i can visit when i want to, but far enough away that they cant visit when they want to.

I'm probably pick Walgreens because it's much closer to my house so I don't gotta go as far and the pay is even.
Work at a theatre, at the concession stand. It's a ridicuously easy job, and I honestly don't complain about the money (I make 7.25 for now, will make 7.45 starting on my birthday in January), cause I'd rather be working there than a factory.
Well I worked at a place called Imagenet full-time which was sweet but I got fired. So now I have decided to go to college and have picked up a part-time job at Steve and Barry's University Sportswear. It's a pretty cool store/company if you've never heard of it. My bosses are all like 24-28 too and cool as ****.
