MMAJunkie says that former middleweight champion Rich Franklin was offered a fight with Dan Henderson at UFC 85 but claims he's unprepared at this point and will fight him in autumn instead. This match pits the S2 ranked #2 and #3 middleweights against each other in what could be an epic, albeit short (3-rounds or less) fight. For those who don't already know, Franklin says there would be "little interest" in another fight with current champion Anderson Silva in the fans eyes; in contrast, Henderson claims that Silva "got lucky" in their fight and says he would beat him if they fought again.
