Joe the plumber, who McCain kept talking about during the debate, doesn't actually have a plumbing license. So now McCain's ruined the guy's life, more than Obama's taxes would in the future. That's a shame.
You do know that you can work as a plumber if your boss has his license, right? Or are you just in the mood to talk completely out of your ass?
But apparently that's not the only thing the guy is a fraud for. He would actually be HELPED by Obama's tax plan. http://voices.washingtonpost.com/th..._the_plumber_not_a_licensed.html?hpid=topnews
Attack a hard-working citizen who dared to question Obama. An interesting tactic by the Dems, especially in a swing-state like Ohio. I can't say I understand this line of attack. The guy works for a plumber, wants his own license, and wants to start a business. Seems like the American dream; instead, he is being attacked. Odd because there are millions of people just like him who have a decision to make over the next few weeks.
How much do plumbers charge? I think the lower ones charge maybe $90 an hour? He'd have to charge $120 an hour (not unreasonable in many cases) x 40 x 52 to get up to $250k. Of course, with apprentices, he can make much more.
Yes, but all of your costs of running the business are subtracted and you are only taxed on your profits. So he'd have to do a lot more than that to be taxed for 250 thousand.
Joe the Plumber is being more vigorously vetted by the media than Barack Obama. I actually know more about Joe the Plumber's history after one day than I know about Obama. God Bless Amurrrrica.

The guy is a McCain supporter, who Obama had no problem discussing policy with, who lied, lied, lied, and lied some more. He lied about being in a position to buy a business that would be making 250K a year. He lied about being an independent (he voted for McCain in the GOP primary). The guy already doesn't pay his taxes, so what would more taxes actually mean to him? (even though he would get a tax cut with Obama's plan). The guy is breaking the law by plumbing without a plumbing license. This guy was talked about more than George W. Bush during last nights debate. McCain's entire economic policy is based around this guy. Thi is quite significant that this guy turned out to be a complete sham. This isn't about taxes, if you watch the guys' interview, he is talking about how Obama isn't proud of this country. This guy has other problems with Obama, not with Obama's policies
I don't care who he supports. It's Obama's answer that has the leftist media in a panic, so now they have to smear the guy who allowed us all to see an honest moment from Obama. Joe the Plumber is irrelevant, but making him the villian is a BAD idea by the Dems and their media. This could flip the election; they should just let it die.
I doubt Obama is going to say anything about "Joe the Plumber." The hard-right belief that the media is simply an extension of the Democratic party is not shared by the mainstream, so I seriously doubt articles about whether he lied are going to have any effect on the election. Good luck with that.
Conspiracy theories don't tend to characterize the mainstream. But you are welcome, as always. No hubris here. I'm simply wonderful in all respects and I shall never receive my comeuppance. Do you hear me, gods? No comeuppance, me!
The major media is tilted to the left. It is not a conspiracy. Hell, Joe the Plumber has been better vetted in one day than Obama has in 20 months by the same media. The fact the media is attacking the guy is a pretty big clue. LOL
