<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Nuggets shooting guard Jon Barry plans to test his surgically repaired right shoulder Saturday by playing in three-on-three games.

It would be Barry's first significant physical test since doctors repaired a torn labrum Dec. 30.

"We'll see if it can take some hits," he said. "Saturday will be a big day to find out where we are. Based on no contact, I can't really tell."

Barry's recovery has been limited to shooting drills, strength and conditioning exercises and throwing tennis balls and footballs.

If all goes well, he hopes to return before the Feb. 13-16 All-Star break.

Man, this is great news. With the Nuggets making a push right now, Jon Barry is just going to give them another scoring threat.
