He said that right now Vince Young has the edge to be drafted by the Titans.

[IMG] And to be honest with them, I agree with that because VY's mentor is McNair and Vince Young wouldnt be rushed to start in tennessee so he can take the time to fix his delivery, ect.

Who knows...they all contradict each other.I could see it happening though because Vince Young has to sit on the bench for a year or two when he enters the league so there will be no competition with McNair whereas people will be pressureing them to start Leinart starting about week 4. Not to mention theres probably a higher upside to Vince Young then there is to Leinart.

I'd love to see Vince Young in Titan blue, but if McNair ends up getting released, then we'd probably need Leinart of Cutler since they both seem more ready to start than Young.

It just doesnt work out well that way.

I know it, man. It sucks. If McNair gets cut, whoever we draft this year will at least play significant minutes, hopefully start. I don't see us with more than 4 or 5 wins TOPS if Volek starts all year.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Titans | Team split on quarterback decision?Sat, 22 Apr 2006 06:44:58 -0700Jim Wyatt, of the Tennessean, reports the Tennessee Titans may be split on their decision regarding which quarterback to select in next week's NFL Draft. The coaches like USC QB Matt Leinart, and the front office, especially general manager Floyd Reese, likes Texas QB Vince Young. Even Leinart's agent, Chuck Price, has heard the buzz. Reese admitted it's partly true and that he does like Young, but he said he also likes Leinart, and Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler, too. The Titans are weighing the pros and cons of each player, and right now there are indications the team is indeed favoring Young over Leinart.</div>http://www.kffl.com/hotw/nflI think they should take Vince Young

I believe there might be some tears in their front office about which one to choose, but I think that if Leinart is available at #3 (Which he likely will be) that he will be their choice.

From everything I've seen in newspapers, articles, etc., Bud Adams and Floyd Reese (owner & GM, respectively) want Vince Young. Jeff Fisher & Norm Chow (HC & OC) want Leinart.

I honestly couldn't tell you, but if I had to bet money on it, I'd say Leinart if he's there when we pick. I personally would rather have Young, though.

I think the Titans have to pick Matt Leinart but either choice would be great because they are both really good QBs
