Johnny Damon has been cut by the Cleveland Indians after he struggled through 64 games with his new team. Damon, designated for assignment on Friday, signed with Cleveland on April 17 but hit only .222 with four home runs. The Indians recalled outfielder Ezequiel Carrera from Triple-A Columbus.
