"If the Hawks are looking to Joe Johnson to shake them out of their offensive funk with a big scoring night against Orlando on Thursday, then they might be looking in the wrong place.

That's not only because Johnson is shooting only 34 percent (22 of 65) over his past four games. The Hawks are supposed to be able to rely on their depth of scorers instead of only their All-Star guard.

But the Hawks' offense hasn't worked that way at times during the postseason, and it was especially bad in Game 1 against Orlando on Tuesday. Johnson, Mike Bibby and Jamal Crawford combined to make six of 27 shots.

Though Johnson is the team's leading scorer, coach Mike Woodson said he shouldn't carry a heavier burden to spark the sagging offense."
