    Jon Fitch has confirmed that he's signed a contract to face Akihiro Gono at UFC 82 in Ohio.
    Gono needs to sign the contract but there isn't a reason for him not to.
    should be a great match.

    Gono made a great run in the Pride WWGP 2 years ago and his entrances are worth the price of admission [​IMG]

    Jon Fitch is in an awkward spot as he's the best welterweight Georges St. Pierre hasn't beaten yet he is a long way from a title shot. If GSP beats Matt Serra we're probably looking at him defending his title against Karo Parisyan in the late summer, putting another title fight, one that Fitch might earn, almost a year away.

    yeah and if he loses just once, he'll most likely lose his shot at the title.
