Dan Henderson's got next. Dana White confirmed that the 41-year old light heavyweight (likely to be 42 by the time the fight rolls around in autumn) will get the next crack at defending champion Jon Jones. Henderson is 4-0 since moving up from middleweight with wins over Renato Sobral, Rafael Cavalcante, Fedor Emelianenko, and Mauricio Rua. Hendo (5'11") will be giving up 13.5" in reach and 5" in height to Jones. Both fighters have a Greco-Roman wrestling background.
Jones vs. Hendo could go down at UFC on FOX 4 (August 4th, Staples Center, Los Angeles), or a yet-unannounced PPV in August (UFC 150). FOX would give them maximum exposure for their "next big thing" Jones, but could cost them a high buy-rate PPV.
