File this under "I shit you not." Jon Koppenhaver, blogger and TUF contestant, has legally changed his name to War Machine. It started when the UFC was threatened by TNA Wrestling over Jon's nickname--something TNA uses for their wrestler Rhyno (War Machine Rhyno). The UFC introduced Jon just by his legal name the last time he fought as a result. So Jon's response is to change his name legally so they have no choice but to use it. He is doing it to preserve his nickname of the past six years and to stick it to TNA. If you recall, Matt Serra once joked that Jon must have a hard time going through the airport with a grenade tattooed on his neck. Imagine going through the airport with a passport that says "Machine, War" under name.
Hahaha, pretty hardcore. Sidenote: Didn't his dad die like when he was twelve and he tried to do CPR on him?
