Jon Ryan a former Blue Bomber from the CFL (wooot). I'm just wondering how's he doing with the Packers? I haven't watched any Packer games last year so I have no idea.</p>

He didn't do too bad for us last year, most of the struggles many seem to put on him, can be attributed to shotty kick coverage earlier in the season. This Offseason they've been working with him to change is punting form, cutting down the number of steps, to hopefully help with his one flaw, his inconsistent hang times. I hope he succeeds and works out, he was a sight for sore eyes after the tragedy that was B.J. Sanders!

Yes he does he is competing with former Cal punter David Lonie(?) who i believe is from England. There is also rumors of potentially bringing in veteran Mitch Berger, who eyes a comeback and has listed Greenbay as a potential suitor. Right now Ryan has the leg up(pun not intended! lol), but who knows what training camp will bring.

I think it would take something like Mitch Berger for Ryan not to be our punter this year. The real battle in the kicking game is Mason Crosby and Dave Rayner. In mini camp it seems that Crosby has a leg up on Rayner.
