Xavier's guard has really been something special in the Tourney from what I've seen. The guy just has that ability to take over, and then he's a youtube sensation for posterizing LeBron. Going out on a limb, but I can see him as a top 20 pick this year competing with James Anderson as the #2 SG in this class behind Evan Turner.
It's interesting how mocks still have this guy a borderline 1st Round pick still. In the NBA, it's so important to have guys that can score off the bench, or someone that can possibly take over games down the stretch. Jordan Crawford has that scorers mentality comparable to a Ben Gordon or Jamal Crawford, yet he's not getting any respect. There's no doubt his game is a bit unorthodox, but this kid has that natural ability to put the ball in the bucket. If you ask me, I'm starting to believe he is in fact the 2nd best SG in this draft after Turner, which is saying a lot since I've been on James Anderson's sack for 3 years now. If you look at Crawford's shooting percentages in this past year, he shot 46% from the field and 40% on 3pt shots. His eFG% was at 53% which is phenomenal for a high volume shooter. If Crawford isn't a top 20 pick come the draft, teams are making a mistake for sure.
