So how do you guys see the guy doing next season? I for one give him props. He showed up when he was supposed to do, actually was able to start, and to top it off plays exceptional defense. Not to mention he was an upgrade to Smush.
Next season, I am not so sure how his growth will pan out with Fisher starting and our new young, and exciting guard Crittenton. You think he can still reach his full potential? I've been a fan of his ever since his UCLA days. Loved him as a Bruin, and I would love him even more if he had that much more success as a Laker.

I think he's terribly overrated by the Laker fans. I don't like him and I think Javaris Crittenton completely blows him away in every aspect of the game. I expect Farmar to be a bench warmer or traded by the deadline.

Im with mamba, farmar hasnt done anything to impress us, he isnt that great on D, he can make a few good plays but can never really lift a team the way a good point really should be able to do.

I feel you guys are being way too hard on the guy. In college, he single-handedly lead the Bruins in the Final game. The guy knows what it takes. In the NBA, he hasn't had that much success but he hasn't been a disappointment. I was impressed with the poise he played with in the playoffs where he was asked to start. (he only started 2 games proir to that) and he did a good job defending Nash. I am very high on Farmar.

Thats the problem. This is not COLLEGE basketball. This is the NBA. Farmar doing well in College does not equate to him doing well in the NBA. I think Jarvis is going to blow Farmar away. Jarvis is far more athletic and more polished in the Triangle.
I see Farmar on the pine and Jarvis starting some games this season behind Fish.
