I don't think so. He says it but he isnt coming. I would love him to comeback again but I don't see it happening.

If he comes back, I hope he comes to the Raptors! [IMG]

I'm not saying that it would happen or anything, but I think he could help us. [IMG]

If we could fix our hole at center, then we would be a pretty tough cookie with his airness.

Jordan comeback? Not likely, he has nothing to prove, and if he did comeback he would lose his career 30 points per game average. So he would hurt his legacy not help it. I think this is just Jordan saying he can still play rather than him saying I want to play again.

Jordan knows what he's doing when he says something like that. He's hinting at a comeback but only if the right team would accept him under the right circumstances.

Jordan needs to drop his games. Yes, we all acknowledge he is great, and that no one will ever overtake him in that sense, but he needs to know when to stop. His last comeback was nothing short of a disaster and by coming back he would just hurt his legacy. He has nothing to play for anymore, having won every award you could win, and he needs to find a life outside of the court, like Stockton, Barkley, Robinson and Olajuwon are doing right now.

If he does come back then I'm going to have to actually hope he breaks a leg or something, just to make it end once and for all.

Tottally agreed, that's better than 80%+ in scoring average against the rest of the league. Here are the stats for his last two seasons with the Wiz.

YEAR G GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF RPG APG SPG BPG TO PF PPG
    01-02 60 53 34.9 .416 .189 .790 .80 4.80 5.70 5.2 1.42 .43 2.70 2.00 22.9

People are reading too much into what comes out of Jordan's mouth. He loves the game, but every time he mentions it people start saying he is pondering comeback. A while ago when reports came out that he was playing basketball consistently everyone started saying he was trying to make a comeback when in reality he wasn’t. Jordan’s legs could not go through another NBA regular season. He plays basketball still, but I doubt it requires the physical endurance that an 82 game regular season would require from his body. A comeback right now for him would be nothing more than a publicity stunt. The problem is that no one wants to let Jordan go so every time they here Jordan in the same sentence as basketball they think he is planning a comeback.

for sure, I dont think he will come back at all and he might latch onto a team as a coach of sorts.

Kareem had the chance to play in the NBA again at 45 and could of still likely added something to a team. The GREATS still have "IT" they can still play the game. Although Mike will not come back, He's stating a fact. He could still add something to some NBA team.

As long as MJ is able to run up and down the court, he will still be capable of helping a team out in some kind of way.
