An attorney for LSU quarterback Jordan Jefferson has entered a not guilty plea on his behalf on a charge of simple assault stemming from an incident outside a Baton Rouge bar in August 2011. Attorney Lance Unglesby entered the plea Thursday for Jefferson, who was not present for the arraignment.
