Jordan McRae – the No. 58 pick in the 2014 draft whose rights were traded to the 76ers on draft night – was going to sign with Philadelphia this year. Then, he wasn’t. After the 76ers extended his required tender – a one-year contract, surely unguaranteed at the minimum, necessary to keep his rights – he did. McRae is on Philadelphia’s training camp roster. He accepted the required tender, according to Shams Charania of Yahoo Sports. Perhaps, McRae surprised the 76ers by forcing their hand. That could explain why they relinquished the rights to Arsalan Kazemi, who’s signing an unguaranteed deal with the Hawks. If McRae had rejected the required tender, Philadelphia would have kept his rights for another year. - See more at:http://nba.nbcsports.com/2015/09/29/jordan-mcrae-takes-76ers-required-tender/
