Minimal impact. Don't see them as contenders unless they pull something else off.

 

Waste of money they still look like an 8th seed to me.

 

Clippers are more fucked than we are. They only have MLE to offer the replacement

 

Wonder if the Mavs will have the space to chase Durant next year

Well, the Mavs are doing all they can for Dirk but they don't have a PG...Their SG is coming off an Achilles making a ton of money, their SF fucked his knee up and they have no depth... With probably not much cap left.

 

If Wes recovers, these two signings could be huge for them. I'm not sure if they're contenders, but at least DJ and Wes are still in their prime.

Im impressed the Mavs were able to pull this off. Huge tip of the cap to Dirk and Mark.

 

The only Mavs team that was super exciting was the 2006 squad, even the 2011 team that won it all was a bunch of geezers somehow catching fire.

 

They just all peaked at the right time. other than that, meh.

As an 8th seed maybe... I honestly think teams like the Jazz, Suns and Pelicans will be better.

 

Oh, that makes much more sense. Although, I bet they finish pretty high too. PP signing I think is going to really help them with spacing and not having to worry about hack a Jordan should also be nice.
