He has weathered a transcontinental feud and an assortment of injuries to remain, in the words of one scout, "hands-down the most dangerous scorer in the NBA." Yet this season, Lakers guard Kobe Bryant is earning the one distinction that has eluded him throughout his 10-year career: he's leading a team into contention.</div>Click the link to Read the whole article:Jordanesque?

I really liked that article. Kobe's teammates themselves have a lot to do with it though, and I don't think it's because Kobe trusts them now or anything. They are just doing better and now Kobe can step back a bit with his shooting and stuff.

MJ didnt win his first ring until about Kobes age...Kobe has a chance....a farfetched chance...but IMO a chance to dethrown MJ.

Does anybody else notice, how Kobe scoring 50 points in a game isn't that exciting compared to if another player were to do it, like if Melo scored 50 points, people would be like OMFG MELO SCORED 50 kinda, but if its Kobe, the 50 points doesn't get mentioned till halfway through the conversation, its almost mondane for him now...What a guy [IMG]
