Colorado pitcher Jorge De La Rosa left the mound during the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader against Arizona when it appeared something was wrong. He returned from the hospital just before the Rockies took the field for the nightcap with bad news: he is lost for the season with a torn ligament in his left elbow. An MRI revealed De La Rosa, the Rockies' best pitcher this season, has a complete tear of the ulnar collateral ligament.
