For the sake of clarity, here are the three labour groups involved in MMA right now...

MMA FA - http://mmafa.tv/ - Oldest, intends to unite fighters from all org's (stateside, I presume) in an association, involves the likes of former UFC fighters Jon Fitch, Nate Quarry, and Randy Couture, intertwined with multiple antitrust/monopsony lawsuits against the UFC that all look to be in the go-nowhere category. The MMAFA wants to deconstruct the promotions in MMA and create something like boxing using the Ali Act where the sanctioning bodies and title associations are external.

PFA - http://profighters.org/ - Headed by player agent Jeff Boris, singularly focused on creating a union for UFC fighters, currently doesn't have any supporting fighters, recently announced a board of fighters would be introduced but it didn't happen, lost Nick Diaz's lauded lawyer Lucas Middlebrook. Seems to have lost significant momentum in the last few months.

MMA AA - https://www.themmaaa.com/ - Headed by former Bellator promoter Bjorn Rebney, focused on creating an association for UFC fighters, has four active UFC fighters on board (GSP, TJ, Cain, Tim Kennedy), recently lost Donald Cerrone who didn't know what he was signing up for and regretted being involved. Has obvious ties with CAA, rival of WME-IMG.

    Aldo:

They called me to join MMAAA, but I don't see much clarity on it. There are others going on, a lot of things happening to help the athletes, but when possible I will be present and participating on things that can benefit our class, I will be fighting. This one was created by the ex-CEO of Bellator, so I don't know what he wants to do, if it will be something for the athletes. There is one that I am part of, with Randy Couture, Cung Le, that has a very open mind to help athletes, not only those from UFC. Our world doesn't spin around UFC. We have millions of events in the whole world, several athletes. We won't fight with an event because we are exclusively there. I fight for all, national or international, I want to help these athletes. Not only those from UFC, that are already in a big event with possibility of a good future, but the smaller ones, that need our help.
