Wow, very sad news. Jose Calderon appeard to have injured his back after he got decked tonight by Mikeal Pietrus. He couldn't get up, and he had to be carried off in a stretcher. He's likely going to be out for a while. What do we do? Thoughts?
sad news. you never want to see a player leave like that, especially with such little time left, no matter who it is. Let's hope it's not serious.
Wow, that's terrible, I hope he's alright. He has had a pretty good year so far as well. You guys really need a PG to fill in. I guess Freddie Jones could play a few minutes at the point, I don't like that, and surely Darrick Martin isn't the answer. You guys should sign a free agent PG for a couple 10 day contracts, depending on how serious this injury is. JAY WILLIAMS!!!
yeah I went to the game and it looked like he hurt his tailbone as he was holding his lower back/ass region....he was motionless for a loonngg time too so I think he'll be out for a couple of weeks if not longer, anyways everyone was cheering Jose when they were bringing him up on the stretcher.
Never like to see anything like this happen to anyone. I heard he had a neckbrace on. Hopefully the guy is ok.

Hey this is my first post seeing as I just found out about this website like a couple days ago. Anyways its wickid that there is raps fansite. I live in a small hockey town so no one watchs bball lol. The ones that do just hate against the raptors. anyways. I didn't like that at all when calderon went down, I was kinda sad to see him tearing up, because hes pretty tough little guard. I think he was jus scared because he couldnt move good. Hopefully its something minor, it could be like a week thing or it could be like tj ford thing. Good Luck Jose, hopefully you have a speedy recovery, for your sake and ours.

Such a sad way to end a good game. Ive always been a huge fan of calderon and really never was critical of him. I was so sad seeing him motionless on the court, I hope he gets better soon.
This is scary... Jose is such an important player for us. Lets hope its not as serios as it though to be. We really need him.
I heard that the injury Jose sustained was some kind of tear or strain to his back so good news is that there is no damage to his vertebrea, he is listed day-to-day for now according to RapsTV.
