    Another positive test result ruins Barnett's stateside career. Hopefully it isn't true.

    Lashley or Belfort make for poor replacements and this is going to kill Affliction off for good if true.

    Sounds like Affliction is going to have Belfort replace Barnett, as they are looking for someone to face Santiago.

    His positive test has been confirmed. The CSAC will not license Barnett so he will not be fighting Fedor. The "positive test result" has not been clarified yet. Barnett tested positive for anabolic steroids in 2002.

    I read a good idea, why not have Fabrico Werdum fight Fedor? He's not coming up in weight and had his title shot in Strikeforce vs Overeem cancelled due to Overeem being injured.

    He should be able to ramp up his training for a chance to face Fedor.
    that's a better matchup than Belfort.

    Werdum would probably be the most legitimate HW replacement for Barnett. It's too bad Overeem isn't healthy though.

    It really depends what shape Werdum is in though, especially considering he isn't in the middle of a training camp or anything, and 11 days is pretty short notice to take on a fighter of Fedor's caliber.

    Rogers said he would take the fight for 800k, but Belfort is going to take the fight for whatever they are offering.

    Shawn Tompkins, striking coach at Xtreme Couture, has confirmed that Belfort is taking the fight vs. Emelianenko; so far the CSAC hasn't sanctioned the change.
