I think this is a very good comparison. Offensively I think Josh is more agressive sometimes Tayshaun has thoughs times where he just wants to keep passing the ball. Both play defense and are pretty much overall players. So who would you take Josh or Tayshaun? I would probably go with Tayshaun because he can play more positions than Josh. He plays the 4 sometimes and runs the pg occasionally. So I would take Tayshaun for the versatility.
Josh Howard's been playing out of his mind lately, this season it's clear that he's taken that extra step as a player. Tayshaun Prince is a very good player but Howard's currently at another level.
This is at leat the third incarnation of this thread I believe.Howard is currently playing out of his mind, and head and shoulders better right now.
I give this to Josh Howard. He is one of the top Small Fowards in the NBA and is really emerging as a star next to Dirk. He is a big reason why the Mavs are a major contender. Howard is only 3 rebounds from averaging a double- double this season. He's a 20 point per game scorer. Howard scores more, averages more rebounds, steals, and blocks, while shooting a better FG% and FT%. Josh Howard...
This isn't even a question without a doubt Josh Howard is easily the better player. Ya he hasn't made an All Star Game but look who he has to beat out Brand, Garnett, Duncan, Nowitzki, I mean that's asking a lot for such a young player. He is an up and coming star with the Mavericks. Tayshaun Prince is a good player and all but he doesn't do the intangibles like Josh Howard can. Howard can give you more consistent rebounding and assits and is a better shooter period. Tayshaun at times is way too inconsistent.JOSH HOWARD
Very tough comparison. Offensively it's Howard, but defensively Tayshaun is one of the best perimeter defenders in the league. I'd probably take Howard because of his potential and more versatile offensive arsenals. I feel he doesn't need to be set up for shots as much as Tayshaun and better at creating his own offense. Defensively Prince takes this, but I like Howard's offense a bit more.
Josh Howardhes a freak and is playing out of this world right now...and I don't think he's hit his peak yet
Howard is going to keep on improving. He's playing very well this year. And I haven't heard much stuff on Prince. But then to me Howard is more aggressive on the boards and is very athletic too.
