"Josh McCown is headed back to the Chicago Bears, a league source told the Chicago Sun-Times' Sean Jensen. He was expected to travel to Chicago on Monday night. "We're looking at all our options at the quarterback position," Lovie Smith said. "As I said, he's one of them. He played good football for us. We're familiar with him." McCown was signed to back up Caleb Hanie last season after Jay Cutler was lost to injury. He was cut Aug. 31 after a decent preseason showing.
