So glad we didn't pick either of the two guys I wanted instead of Lillard at Six. Was never on the Barnes band wagon but I wanted Thomas to fall to us or Drummond.

Olshey has a good track record in terms of drafting, but his track record in FA has been abysmal.

It was Drummond/Thomas then figured one of Lillard/Marshal would be there and I liked Marshal a lot, boy was I wrong there.

I wanted Barnes + Marshall + sign Dragic.
Only because I always loathed Batum as a player and wanted him gone.

I wanted Dame the whole time. I wanted to somehow get Drummond but I figured he wasn't going to fall past DET. I've always had high hopes for Meyers but have never been completely sold on him. When he started shooting 3s I'd yell his whole name at the game like I was his parent:

Meyers Patrick Leonard if you shoot another 3! :smiley-195517897341

He used to play so much bigger.

I'm not sure you were wrong. Marshall's 2 big weaknesses were defense and shooting. He really learned to shoot the 3. His problem was that he got a big injury at a bad time.

They were good. What happened to them?

Dawkins does a great job though. No frills.

Pretty sure he got hired directly by the Trail Blazers so she does their videos now. Or that was the other guy who does great blazer vids.

    Fun facts:

Lillard has 848 career 3 pointers.
    Last Year he had 229.
If he has 200 more this year, he'll have 1048 by season's end.
The 50th most in league history is Dennis Scott with 1214.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_National_Basketball_Association_career_3-point_scoring_leaders

That means that in the middle of the 2017-18 season he should break into the top 50. It's conceivable that he passes Terry Porter (1297, 35th all time, 1st all time for a Blazer) by the end of that season.

Made a quick spreadsheet: Lillard will break the all time record in his 15th year, with several caveats, of course.
