are you serious that a professional athlete misses a dang 1 foot shot for the win. Why he came in the game still is out of my mind but seriously how do you miss that.
Madsen blew the game. The Wolves seem to have a lot of confidence in him. As Bill Walton would say, "throw it down big fella, throw it down!"
I saw that on ESPN, I about puked when I saw how easy that was. If you're a pro, there is no excuse to missing that. Heck, if your a 1st grader, there is no excuse to missing that.
how much time was left? maybe that was an issue, maybe he just wanted to get rid of it ASAP cause he thought the clock was gonna expire so he rushed it and bricked???????? Either way, he sucks. ahahahahaha
Funny thing is, everyone talked only good about him until tonight. Him not dunking the ball and laying it up to miss is nothing new, he did it for years in L.A. I remember when I said he might be the worst player in the NBA right now about a month ago, and it seemed like no one would agree with me. I guess now I have some company in that theory? He's a hard worker no doubt, but he really sucks. Always thought all those minutes Mark took up should have gone into the development of Slava.
uhg, inexcusable shot on behalf of mark. we would have easily had the W if he would just throw it down. maybe he would have danced again if he made it tho.
I call it justice, considering the call Sam Cassell got with 13 seconds left when the referee called a foul on Jason Willams when he wasn't even close to Sam. That had to be one of the worse calls this season, they were trying to hand Wolves the game The team that deserves to win the game, did.
As much as I love Maddog, everybody knows he should have made that shot. There is no excuse, and I am sure he feels like puke right now.
He could've made a dunk, he can dunk....he knows he can't shoot, why'd he take the layup! As much as I love him, his hustle, his game, this was so inexcuseable, I'm happy for the Grizzlies though, they went head to head with us, point for point. Still geez....
Man, you guys are being a bit hard of Mad Dawg...its just one game, no big deal...he lacks skill, but he makes some of that up with heart...I can't fault the guy too much considering the level of his efforts....You wouldn't kick Rudy (football reference) when he's down, would u?
It is olny one game notmuchgame, but with the west having so many talented teams the twolves can't afford to lose many games especialy on a one foot shot
Everybody killing Mark Madsen but the way he caught the inbounce pass it would have been hard for him to go up strong for a dunk. He had to catch the ball & shield off Loren Wright(or James posey cant really which one it was). In order for him to go up strong enuff to dunk, he would have had to pump fake to get his balance, which would have risked him getting his shot block or the clock going off. He caught the ball falling away from the basket. Mark Madsen is all hustle, so Iam not mad at him for missing that shot as hard as he plays. You have to give some credit to the grizzlies who knock away the original inbounce pass to KG that took almost a full second off the clock & made the t-wolves change the play. And the call that sent Sam to the free throw line was horrible. But excellent acting by Sam
You guys know I love Madsen, but when you miss a gimme for the game winner, you are going to get some complaints.
