I just got an MP3 player yesterday at Best Buy. And I really need to know, lol How the freak do I put songs on this beast???!?!? I know theres this little cd, but I just want to put songs from limewire on it, these instructions don't tell me nada..[IMG]

So if anyone has an MP3 player and knows how to load limewire songs on it, I would really, greatly appreciate it.

What kind of MP3 player is it? Ipods or Rios or probably most major companies have software that you can dowload off of the internet.

Another way is to plug in your MP3 player and go to My Computer. It should show an icon for a plug-in storage device (your MP3 player). You can then open your shared folder for whatever file downloading program you have and drag and drop the songs you want onto the icon and therefore onto the MP3 player.

Fust FYI when you unplug the MP3 from your computer don't just yank it out. You have to double click the small USB icon in the bottom left of yourscreen (assuming you have windows). This will bring up another page that should hae your MP3 player selected (probably called USB mass storage device or something along those lines) then click stop so that you can safely remove your MP3 player without it deleting all of the data you just put in.

If it shows up as a portable device in your Windows Media Player, you can sync songs from your library to your mp3 player.

It's pretty intuitive stuff, as long as you know where your downloaded files are stored you should be fine to just copy/paste.

if theres a cd theres gunna be a program that like transfers the songs from it its usually music match unless its a ipod then its itunes then u just drag it from limewire to what ever the program if its a older one then u mite have to install the program on ur computer (should be on a disk that comes it with) and u'd just have to click it then click format updates or something like that but thats the real old ones
