Roy dribbled the ball off his foot . . .

We gave the ball to our best player in the closing seconds and that's what happened. There was an audible gasp from the crowd when the ball went shooting out of bounds--the gasp of "I can't believe our good luck."

On the bright side, Roy looked completely healthy to me. I didn't see any winces of pain when he drove to the hoop, and he actually looked quite spry out there. I think he's just lost his mojo a little bit.

We're now a .500 team, which is really disappointing. We missed a lot of easy shots, and we faded at the end of the third quarter, giving up a 12-point lead.

The Prudential Center is a great place to watch an NBA game. The steeply banked seating means there's a great view from everywhere. Saw quite a few Blazer fans. There was a girl wearing a Pryzbilla jersey right in front of me.

It's going to be a long season. Brace yourselves.

Yes, they look like a .500 team to me too. Sad.

They didn't really look as good as a .500 team.
