I read it on many sites. And many have said they heard it on the radio, and saw it on t.v. that the trade that sends Vlade Divac, Deaven George, and Caron Butler (dang, I liked this kid) for Utah's Carlos Boozer is done. Now they are saying the trade is pending on the league's approval and player physicals. Even though this is a sad trade, mostly because Butler is leaving, the Lakers really get the better end of this trade, for now. Boozer I guarantee will be much better in L.A., and may even pull off a Vince Carter makeover. My only thing is we have a better team, but it didn't improve drastically in defense, don't get me wrong, Boozer is a good defensive presence, he just can't block, but we still have not seen the real Lamar Odom, so maybe this trade will make him blossom. So right now this trade has true, and great potential for the Lakers. Maybe the Lakers can get young defensive player Marcus Banks from the Celtics (they've always wanted him).

But for Laker fans lets hope this trade is really done, I keep this updated, just waiting for ESPN to say "this trade will be done within 24 hours," or something like that.

    PG Chucky Atkins
    SG Kobe Bryant
    SF Lamar Odom
    PF Carlos Boozer
    C Chris Mihm
(looks more and more like the '98 bulls starting rosters)

Sucks for Haley...if he's wrong, he could be out of a job.
