Can we just make the trade?
    Trade.
Realistically its probably the best we'lll get and Devon Harris is a future all star. Keep Bass and grab a first, buyout Stack and waive the rest.

I dig the trade, however the Mavs will be too weak at the 2 spot...

bass is a must. i love this kid, has a good jumper, built like a tank, rebounder, defender, damn if only we signed him instead of magloire and malik. another thorn blunder. imagine signing blatche and bass on the cheap instead of magloirie and malik? damn

Terry would play minutes at the two...30 days after the buyout of Stackhouse he could return to the Mavs. Basically Stack gets paid to take a month vacation to play with Kidd.

Harris and Bass instantly become part of the rotation...

trade Nenad, Antione Wright, Jamal Magliore and a 2009 1st rounder for Mike Miller.

    PG: Devon Harris, Marcus Williams
    SG: Vince Carter, Mike Miller
    SF: Richard Jefferson, Boki Nachbar
    PF: Sean Williams, Brandon Bass
    C: Josh Boone, Stromile Swift

    not a rebuild...more of a retool.
possibly try to trade Carter or RJ in the offseason.
    get younger while staying productive.
