CC Sabathia suffered some sort of hamstring injury on his last start and is out for the season. But not to worry Girardi has that man among men Hughes to step in and take over. I am wondering what the hell the coaching and training staff of this team does to earn their paychecks.

Just par for the course in a nightmare season. It's all but over so it doesn't really matter. I just hope they hire a new strength and conditioning guy for next season. I've never seen anything like this.

S & C coach, or what I feel is the real problem, these guys are not working hard enough in the off season on their own. Aside from Jeter, and Arod who's injuries required extensive rehab time, the rest just seem to me to point to the athlete as much as a coach. Exclude Hafner, Youkilis and the likes from this, they were broke by the time we got them.
