PG- RondoSG- DelonteSF- PiercePF- GomesC- PerkinsBench- SzczerbiakBench- TelfairBench- AllenBench- JeffersonBench- RatliffBench- GreenBench- Ray/KandiI'd like to see this lineup at least attempted a bit. It gives you two strong units that can score, rebound, and defend. I think that Telfair and Wally compliment each other pretty well, and as do Rondo and Delonte. You have shooters, defenders, and rebounders on both units, which I feel is something that would help this team a lot, and not necessarily putting the greatest lineup out there we can, but rather put out a balanced lineup that will do everything, not just score. I don't really know where Doc is going with the lineup so I just felt I'd throw my two cents in.. you guys like this idea? Hate it?

In preseason, sure, I'd love to experiment with starting Rondo to see how he does against starter competition. But Wally will start. End of story. I remember he had issues in Minnesota, he said he wanted to start, and he had problems when he didn't. Not to mention, like it or not he's the 2nd best player on this team, and he complements Pierce well.

Pierce/Wally are the only guarenteed starters. PG will be battled out between Delonte, Bassy, and Rondo. PF will be between Gomes and Al (with Gomes starting early on, the rest depends on Al's production). Center, either Perk or Ratliff will start, but Perk will definitely get the bulk of the minutes there anyway.

We can't start Delonte at the 2 anyhow, I don't think he would do very well guarding 6'6'' slashers.

I agree completely with telfair and wally complementing eachother well. I actually really like those line-ups, good thinking.

It'd depend on what teams you play against with that lineup. If your playing against a team that has a very fast and physical 4 then you prolly wanna stay away from starting Gomes at the 4 and put Jefferson there.

I really don't mind that lineup, if we're playing a team with a small shooting guard, you can't have Delonte at the 2 otherwise. I agree wally is a starter, but I really want to see Rondo starting in some games this year. Rondo has won me over so far, I wouldn't mind seeing him start some games.
