Say we trade Pau for Bosh, don't think the raptors would do it straight up... so we would need to add some picks or what not... or maybe they would since we just extended Pau, while bosh is in his last year with no signs of signing or not, and the difference between the 2 isn't that great. Colangelo seems to like foreign born players anyway... S&T maybe?

Hypothetically, would you do it and do you think a Bosh - Bynum frontcourt would work?

Pau just sucks and is easily bullied by opponents that are mentally tougher...

IMO, i think it could work, Bosh has a mid and high post game anyway and has a decent jumper. And Bosh rebounds better, which would quickly make up for the lack of rebounds between gasol and bynum.

    Just wondering...

Maybe we could even swing a deal that would add Calderon for farmar and ammo:

Yes I would, but there's no point for Toronto to make this trade. At this point, I'd much rather trade Pau than Drew.

If Pau continues to play like a pussy, I'd take Chris Bosh in a heartbeat. I miss the 2009 Pau Gasol :[

You mean the 2009 "playoff" gasol.

For toronto? yes there would... if Bosh doesn't decide to resign, they'd look pretty stupid if they get nothing back for him wouldn't they?

And do you think they'd get an offer as good as gasol? i don't think so...

    Pau would virtually replace Bosh

You don't need to get equal value for trades. If Bosh leaves, I'm assuming they'll rebuild. The smart move is to trade Bosh away for some good young talent, such as Andrew Bynum. Pau Gasol, 30, does nothing for me if I'm Toronto's GM.

I think Pau needs to nut up, but I don't know if I'd make this trade. I think Pau is just burnt out from all the basketball he has played over the last two years or so. Right now he is playing horrible ball, though. I agree there.

I don't think I'd do it, because there's no guarantee Bosh would agree to an extension if we brought him here.

Pau is just burned out and needs a break. Thank god the ASG is coming up, so hopefully he'll get a good chunk of rest during that.

Yeah, read an article this morning, Pau said his legs aren't in the shape that he needs them to be.
