Juventus Look At Senderos

Juventus have been linked with yet another English-based player after Tuttosport claimed that the club is ready to bid for Arsenal defender Philippe Senderos.

The Italian press has been going into transfer overdrive ever since Juventus director of sport Alessio Secco travelled to London earlier in the week.

Over the past couple of days the Bianconeri have been linked with Chelsea’s Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba, Liverpool’s Momo Sissoko, and Arsenal’s Kolo Toure, William Gallas and Gilberto Silva.

The next to be added to this list is Swiss centre back Philippe Senderos. The 22-year-old has played in most of the Gunners’ games this season, however he has lost his place in the team now that William Gallas is back from injury.

Juve boss Claudio Ranieri is said to be a huge fan of the physical Senderos and thinks he is well suited to the Italian league. Secco meanwhile was present at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday night to watch Arsenal thump Slavia Prague 7-0.

The Bianconeri have made no secret of their intention to buy a centre-back during the January transfer window but despite this latest link, it is still believed that Lokomotiv Moscow stopper Branislav Ivanovic is top of Ranieri’s shopping list.

You never know, if they offer more money and playing time, they'll leave. [IMG]

True. If one were to leave, it would be Gallas or Sendoros, not both.

Gilberto I'm sure will looke for a team that'll give him PT. Also Gallas is a possibility. (being that he hasn't played yet)

Toure won't leave. Senderos Might for money but i doubt it. Gallas More likely to stay. Gilberto might go as Flamini is proving to be Fabregas' perfect partner at the moment.
