Juwan Howard is being talked about as a possible addition to the Cavaliers roster:

QUOTE (Cleveland Plain Dealer)

Juwan Howard accepted a buyout from the Minnesota Timberwolves last weekend, which could lead to Howard joining the Cavaliers prior to Wednesday's season opener against the Dallas Mavericks.
The opening day roster of 15 players must be set by 6 p.m. today.
Howard, according to league sources, spoke with the Cavs over the weekend about joining the club. Howard is also considering Dallas and Boston.

This would be interesting, as Howard could be a useful player for the Cavs. I'd rather have Varejao back, though not for the price he wants. Anyone know what Howard might be looking for ($$$)?

I'd imagine he'd sign for the vet minimum to play for a contender. He'd be a nice pick up and a solid backup for Big Z. Right now Cleveland doesn't have another back to the basket scorer when Big Z goes to the bench and Howard could fill the void.
I'm still amazed Varejao is unsigned.
