Little surprise that the Wildcats struggled to put away Missouri-Kansas City. Rodney McGruder scored 17 points Saturday night, Thomas Gipson added 13 points and six rebounds and No. 25 Kansas State hung on down the stretch for a 52-44 victory over Missouri-Kansas City that was every bit as ugly as the final score would indicate.
