It seems that this year for the lakers Karl Malone is a better player than he was last year with the jazz. It appears that he hustles harder and plays harder for the lakers looking to get that championship. I think that Karl Malone will play a big part in getting the ring for LA this year.
Well the numbers he put up in utah last year are almost identical as the numbers he is putting up here in LA. He is averaging 6 points less in LA but is averaging 3 more rebounds. Everything else is about the same as last year. The biggest thing he is bringing here is his leadership and passion. I think the other guys are feeding off of that. If we do win the title this year, he will be one of the biggest reasons why

Just look at what happened Sunday against the Jazz. The Lakers just missed his presence on that basketball court.
Well it's obvious his points are down. He's a 20+ point player on most teams except a few that are stacked, but has been rebounding big, and like laker fever said, we have just been feeding off his energy and brings a lot of leaderships, looks like he's having a lot of fun out there with the Lakers, he knows its his year.
Part of the reason why Karl is averaging so many rebounds is because he has Shaq boxing out on the other side. But yeah, I love Karl's intensity. The man is a good player, and his passing is underrated. I love it.
Karl took a HUGE paycut to win a ring. Surely, he'll do anything and everything to get that ring. But I agree that he's been great this year.
Playing with 3 other hall of famers will improve any player.More so Karl.He has been an underrated passer for years. He is showing everyone what I already knew.
