<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Everyone wearing high-tops was excited. So was a guy in cowboy boots. Denver Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke stood in the victorious locker room Tuesday night. He was asked about his level of enthusiasm after watching new coach George Karl win his home debut. "Shall I jump?" Kroenke said. "My vertical leap's not as high as (Kenyon Martin's)." Kroenke did not actually leave the ground following the Nuggets' 96-76 win against the New York Knicks at the Pepsi Center, Denver's third consecutive victory since Karl became coach Thursday. But maybe if the Nuggets win a few more he will try to outleap Martin. Martin was head and shoulders above everyone. He scored 27 points, throwing down six dunks against the tired Knicks, who played the night before against the Clippers in Los Angeles. </div> Source
