Keep it up Detroit, bring this NBA Finals to a close these next two games and knock those Lakers out.

I can't believe how the Pistons beat the Lakers. I want the Pistons to win, but I didn't want the Lakers to be embarrassed in the manner in which they were. I thought the Pistons would win, but Damn.

Detroit did a hell of a job from keeping Kobe from getting the ball and double teaming Shaq up. This was there best performance of the playoffs so far. Just two wins away...

The next two games, the pistons must win or else its back to STAPLES. and i dont want that to happen. so all piston fans, believe! Tayshaun has to keep owning Kobe and we'll be OK. (BTW i became a piston fan on June 8)

The Pistons winning the championship would be a bigger upset than Malone winning the regular season's MVP over Jordan in '97. Props to the Pistons, but your path will have a dead end.

I agree the Pistons have made L.A look like newbies at this game, props to Tayshaun, Chauncey, and Rip particulary for kicking there game up a notch. Im a good hard laker's fan too, im loving this series my two favorite teams duking it out for the title. But I actually want Motown to take it because im tired of L.A winning it every year(they won 3 of 5 in past five years).

Keep it up is right. I am not going to jump on the bandwagon, but I will say this. I LOVE how Detroit is playing! I love their defense. I love their heart. They took it as a slap in the face that LA would dominate this series. They believed they could win, and they are showing that confidence. I love defense. That is why I love to watch the pistons in the playoffs this year. I am a hardcore Warriors fan. I only wish we could have had Larry Brown as a coach when he took over for the 76ers, then for Detroit. Keep it up. Detroit's mind set in game five has to be this...Win it at home for the fans. It has nothing to do with being scared about going back to LA. When have they shown fear at all? Go Detroit.

I love the Pistons. Thanks for showing that the Eastern Conference CAN be good. I'm not jumping the bandwagon, I've always cheered for any team that plays against the Lakers. hahaha... I think a lot of people do too.

[quote name='malt-tones']Isn't the west supposed to be the dominate conference?
Wasn't LA supposed to hand us our rear ends?

The West is the dominant conference. Your argument would state that either team who won the Final's conference is the most dominant. Look at the playoff seedings. Denver would have been in the 4 spot and if the playoffs went by records, the West would've had 10 out of 16 teams in. And when was the Eastern #1 seed decided?
