<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">It was around this time last year that Keith Bogans got a phone call informing him of a trade which sent him from the Charlotte Bobcats to the Houston Rockets.

The call he received Thursday a couple hours after the Orlando Magic had finished practicing was also work-related, but of a far different nature. Grant Hill wanted Bogans to be among the first to know that a sprained right knee suffered by the Magic's starting shooting guard through 39 of their first 46 games would sideline Hill for at least two weeks.

"I appreciate that. That's the kind of guy (Hill) is," said Bogans, who is expected to make his third start in a row for Hill tonight when the Magic play at Milwaukee.

Hill can't recall exactly when he hurt his knee, but if it happened against the Bucks, it wasn't severe enough to keep him from playing 33 minutes in the Magic's 98-73 victory. That was the same game in which Bogans scored 13 points and matched his career high in assists with seven by halftime.

Bogans came in for Hedo Turkoglu not even halfway through the first quarter and found himself being more aggressive than usual on offense.

"Sometimes I can feel myself becoming passive out there," he said. "It depends. If the coach (Brian Hill) needs me to go out there and do something, I'm pretty sure I can do it. I try not to be one-dimensional. But my strong point is playing defense."

For one night, his passing became an area of emphasis as well. Four of his assists came on all four baskets by Tony Battie during a four-minute stretch late in the first quarter, which finished with the Magic ahead 31-13.

"It was nothing I was thinking about," he said. "When you're out there playing basketball and having fun, everything basically falls into place."

Until their loss Saturday night to New York, the Magic had a 7-1 record with Bogans in their starting lineup. He also went into that game tied with San Antonio's Brent Barry for fourth in the NBA in 3-point shooting accuracy.</div>

Im glad to see Bogans getting a chance, and im proud that hes actually improved his 3 point shooting drematically since leaving Kentucky. I was wondering if you all watch Kentucky games and noticed that Joe Crawford, Keith Bogans, and Kelenna Azubuike are all similar players. Anyways hopefully he can continue his strong play and if he does who knows he may stay the starter once Hill is gone
