My vote is on "idiot." Geez...

    Winslow injured in motorcycle accident
WESTLAKE, Ohio - Browns tight end Kellen Winslow Jr. was injured in a motorcycle accident, but the team said his injuries aren't life-threatening.

Winslow was riding in a community college parking lot Sunday when he hit a curb at about 35 mph and was thrown from the motorcycle, police Lt. Ray Arcuri said.

He was taken by ambulance to Fairview Hospital and was scheduled to be transferred to the Cleveland Clinic on Monday where the team's medical staff would treat him, Browns spokesman Bill Bonsiewicz said.

"He went over the handlebars and was real evasive about what the injuries were," Arcuri said.

Winslow was wearing a helmet, but it wasn't strapped on and flew off his head, Arcuri said. He and four other men were riding motorcycles in the parking lot, not far from Winslow's home.

The first-round draft pick missed nearly all of his rookie year after breaking his leg in the second game of the season. He has had two operations on the leg.

I would cut him some slack if he didn't hold out last year and make a big stink about how great he is and how he deserves all this money and how he's going to be a hall of famer... All this without playing a single NFL game.

The guy had TWO surgeries on his leg and he's out risking his life and his NFL career playing motorcycle games with his buddies in a PARKING LOT without even fastening his helmet. I mean, come on... I know 16 year olds with more common sense.

You forgot to mention that he doesnt even have a permit or a license for a motorcycle. He was lucky that he didn't get arrested. He not a kid he's almost 22 yrs old. What he did was idiotic, and I hope that the Browns take him to the cleaners.

22 year olds are kids. Especially unmarried ones, who have no kids of thier own.

Soldier boy is an idiot. Something about being old enough to know what you are doing and cause and effect.

Good thing the Browns drafted Edwards.

Considering the fates of past Browns' first round draft picks, I would suggest that Braylon Edwards stay away from black cats, Chunky Soup endorsements, ladders, the covers of SI and Madden, motorcycles and never view Red Cashon's beanie baby collection without the benefit of safety goggles. If I were Lloyds of London, I wouldn't touch him.

A cracked FEMUR and a cracked kneecap are "among" his injuries. Must have been one hell of a spill. Moron's lucky to be alive...

That's seven votes for "idiot" and one vote for "Give him a break, he's just a kid."

I should have made this a poll thread... [IMG]
