A former Seton Hall basketball player has pleaded guilty in an armed robbery at a house near the school's northern New Jersey campus. Kelly Whitney is expected to get a three-year state prison term in a plea deal with Essex County prosecutors. The 28-year-old Chicago resident pleaded guilty Monday to burglary, conspiracy and criminal restraint charges, and must serve 85 percent of his term before becoming eligible for parole.
